Why should I apply for the Factor Fellowship?
The Factor Fellowship is an opportunity for you to explore a new career in the startup space. Our goal is to demystify the often opaque and insular world of venture-backed startups. The program will provide exposure to startup culture, training and mentorship from tech leaders, skill development, and career coaching. You’ll join a network of top talent and build your network while accessing jobs at venture-backed startups.
What does the application process entail?
The first round asks for your contact information, your resume, and your ability to participate in the Spring 2025 cohort in NYC over a 18-week period from March to July 2025. We will also ask you to record two brief (<3 minute) videos in response to two prompts. Applications close on December 15.
The second round is an in-depth written questionnaire, which will help us to better understand your interest in working in startups and your transferable skills. We will start to send questionnaires in early January.
The third round is a one-on-one live interview with a member of the Factor team in late January.
The final round is comprised of a group working session followed by an individual presentation to a panel of leading VCs and startup operators in mid-February. Selected Fellows and waitlisted applicants will be notified shortly after.
When do the next round of applications open?
Applications for the Spring 2025 cohort are open now through December 15, 2024. Applications for the Fall 2025 cohort will open in Spring 2025.
